With her most recent EP Committed Language arriving back in 2015, we were thrilled to hear that Laura Groves is back with an enchanting new single. Now signed to Bella Union, 'Infinite Wisdom' is the lead track from her forthcoming third EP A Private Road, due for release on the 4th of December. Glistening with astral synthesizers and washy electric guitar, a fizzing drum machine keeps tempo on 'Infinite Wisdom', whilst simultaneously adding a retro, analogue feel. Comparatively spiky bass pokes through the ethereal soundscape, that's layered with lighter-than-air backing vocals, as Groves' breezy lead levitates seamlessly above the mix singing, 'run away from somewhere, in time, two rings on your fingers, the sun in your eyes'. Check out the animated video created by Groves and and visual artist Sophie le Roux here now. -Holly Mullineaux
